Coman and Scott Halls

People watching a women's soccer game from the hills outside Scott and Coman Halls.Built in 1958, Coman and Scott Halls are designated as Scholars Halls. Both halls are mixed-class, coed and students interested in an intellectually stimulating living community.

Freshmen who choose Coman or Scott Halls, both coed halls, will be members of the Global Learning Community, a partnership between International Programs, the Office of Undergraduate Education, and Residence Life. The Global Learning Community will feature the Freshman Focus courses noted above, as well as programming supported by a grant from the Jackson Foundation. This combination of courses is appropriate for all majors. Some of these classes will take place in the newly remodeled lounge in Coman Hall, and residents will have access to new technological resources associated with the Learning Community.

The halls feature larger-sized double rooms and are located near WSU's extensive physical education and recreational facilities.
