Gannon-Goldsworthy Hall

The Math, Science, and Engineering Hall

When choosing housing arrangements, the College of Engineering and Architecture and the College of Sciences strongly encourage incoming freshmen to sign up for Gannon-Goldsworthy Residence Hall ,which offers a living-learning community for students interested in math, science, and engineering.

Research shows that bringing you together with other students who share your interest in science and engineering will help ensure an excellent start to your college career. Students who share a living-learning experience, like that offered in Gannon-Goldsworthy, consistently do better academically than students who go it alone. Exposing you and your fellow math, science, and engineering students to culture, concepts, and careers in these fields tends to sustain motivation in your classes. Furthermore, the living-learning experience at Gannon-Goldsworthy creates a cohort of students sharing a major who will become your foundation for support for your years here at WSU and beyond.

Built in 1961, Gannon and Goldsworthy Halls house the coed (by floors, and in some cases coed on the same floor) Math, Science and Engineering Program, where students with similar interests can share experiences and academic challenges.
