Terrace Apartments
Terrace was built in the late 50's and is located on the north side of campus. From Terrace to the center of campus is a 15-minute walk with a bus stop located right in front of the complex. This complex is moderately priced and most units are not carpeted. Most of the studios are furnished (stove, refrigerator, table with chair, sofa sleeper/futon or bed (our choice), dresser and desk); however, a few are available without furniture. All one-bedroom units are unfurnished with stove and refrigerator provided. A furniture rental program is available, although availability is limited and not guaranteed. New windows and siding have made a difference in the livability and appearance of this complex. There are individual, storage lockers located next to laundry rooms. The university provides cable tv, water, sewer, garbage and heat. The resident is responsible for paying for electricity, phone and internet service. The average electrical charge is $18.00 a month. Roommates are not allowed in these units.
