Waiting List Application Instructions
- All applicants will apply on line by going to www.livingat.wsu.edu You must have a full group at the time you apply.
- Groups will need to specify 1) the term(s) they are requesting consideration for, and 2) the size and location of the apartment they are requesting.
- Housing Services will assign apartments to groups based on the availability of units and the groups’ position on waiting list. Residents must respond to the assignment within the specified time limit in order to secure the apartment on line.
- A $150 security deposit will be required for each applicant in the group at the time an assignment is accepted if not already on the applicant’s Housing and Dining Financial Services account.
- Housing Services reserves the right to deny future housing assignments to residents with a history of more than one delinquency letter, or more than one notice to vacate, or cleaning and damage charges in excess of $200, or other factors that are indicative of poor credit history.
- Assignments and notices will be emailed to the applicant’s email address.
Keeping Your Application Updated
- If we are unable to place a group in any of their requested apartment types, the group will maintain their position on the waiting list as long as the term requested is kept updated.
- Changes to the term your group wishes to be considered for may be requested by contacting Housing Reservations at 335-4577 or visiting the Housing Reservations Office, Streit-Perham building.
- Roommates wishing to cancel from the waiting list must complete a cancellation notice.
- If a group loses a roommate(s), you must remember only full groups are considered so you will need to find replacements in order to stay on the waiting list.
