The newly renovated Southside Café is located next to the Gannon-Goldsworthy residence hall, just off of Stadium Way. Students can expect more of a restaurant feel and cook-to-order food prepared in a variety of ways.

Hours of Operation

Southside Café accepts the Residence Dining Account and Cougar CASH

The Southside Café features exhibition style food preparation and service platforms featuring:

  • Crimson Bakeshop & Deli – featuring: cakes, pies, cookies (baked fresh daily at our campus Crimson Bakeshop) and a self-service deli bar
  • Silo's N' Wraps – featuring: fresh-baked artisan sandwiches and wraps
  • Big Cat Grille featuring: hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, French fries, and more
  • Stonewall Pizza and Pasta featuring: pizzas, pastas, and Italian foods
  • Field of Greens – featuring: two salad bars, a salad exhibition platform, soup and fresh bread
  • Chef's Creations – featuring: breakfast, home-style entrees, international cuisine, and a carvery

The Southside Café is also home to Flix Café & Market which is located on the ground floor. Flix Café & Market features an espresso bar and market; as well as, a late night grill. Students can enjoy these features while dining in a 50’s style atmosphere.

Dining Services anticipates that this newly renovated facility will be very busy. Students have the opportunity to dine at a number of Dining Service locations across campus.

  • Northside Café
  • Hillside Café
  • Any Espresso Bar or Market

Residence Dining Account (RDA) customers receive a 40% discount when they use their RDA in the residence dining facilities (Hillside Café, Northside Café, Cougar Fitness Café, and Southside Café). Residents using their RDA receive a 10% discount at the Markets and Espresso Bars, Flix Late Night (starting at 7:30pm nightly, and Hillside Late Night (starting at 7:30pm nightly). The Hillside Café and Hillside Late Night also accept cash.

Cougar CASH customers realize significant savings at all Dining Services locations on campus. Please ask your Dining Services cashier for details.
