Nutritional Information

We take pride in our commitment to providing a wide variety of nutritious foods on campus. Using fresh, local ingredients, creating balanced menu options, robust salad bars, and access to the staff dietitian demonstrate our commitment. We also provide food service experience to dietetic interns in the Coordinate Program in Dietetics in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition.

WSU Dining Services strives to provide our guests with a variety of dining options specifically tailored to their particular dietary needs. Please notify Annie Roe, Registered Dietitian, of allergies or special dietary needs to help provide the most positive dining experience.

WSU recently switched to trans-fat free frying oil at all locations. Butter, olive oil and olive oil blends are used in sautéing and may be eliminated by request.

Dietary Restrictions

Dining Services wants to provide our guests with nutritious food and an excellent dining experience. We take food allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. Please contact Annie Roe, Registered Dietitian at (509) 335-4785 if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Our Registered Dietitian will work with you to assist the Chef and the General Manager in the developing a list of food items that will meet your nutritional needs. If special food items are required in order to meet your nutritional needs, the Dining Services Executive Chef will evaluate the possibility of ordering these special items.

All units have their unique menu and recipes. If you have questions regarding ingredients in a specific food, please contact the unit manager on duty. The Unit Chef, or the General Manager will provide you with the ingredients information in a specific menu item.

By informing our dietitian, we can best serve you by pointing out which foods to avoid. If you are having an allergic reaction, seek medical help immediately.
