arlita's Mexican Grille & Espresso is located at the newly renovated Compton Union
Building in the heart of the WSU campus. The home of authentic Mexican cuisine, Carlita's is
proud of their commitment to using 100% biodegradable/recyclable paper products, and to
using green chemicals for ware washing.
Carlita's has partnered with Spokane-based coffee roaster Thomas Hammer, to bring the finest coffee and espresso. Thomas Hammer coffee comes from organic and fairly traded beans. Their new Carlita's blend is featured at this brand new location and is only available at Carlita's.
Carlita's serves genuine tortillas and corn chips made from the traditional family recipes of the De Leon family of De Leon Foods, another Spokane-based company. The De Leon family uses Shepherd's Grain flour in making their product. Shepherd's Grain is grown by an alliance of local farms committed to sustainable practices.

Residence Dining Account (RDA) customers receive a 40% discount when they use their RDA in the residence dining facilities (Hillside Café, Northside Café, Cougar Fitness Café, and Southside Café). Residents using their RDA receive a 10% discount at the Markets and Espresso Bars, Carlita's Mexican Grille & Espresso, Flix Late Night (starting at 7:30pm nightly), and Hillside Late Night (starting at 7:30pm nightly). The Hillside Café and Hillside Late Night also accept cash.
Cougar CASH customers realize significant savings at all Dining Services locations on campus. Please ask your Dining Services cashier for details.
