Steptoe Village
Steptoe Village was built in the early 70's and is the largest apartment complex in family housing. The complex contains two hundred one, two, and three bedroom apartments. Only the two bedroom apartments are available in either flats all living areas on one floor, or townhouses where bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. There is easy access to the three coin operated laundry rooms located throughout this complex. Each apartment has wall to wall carpeting except in the bathroom and kitchen. Every apartment has its own private deck. There is extra storage space in individual storage lockers mainly located next to the laundry rooms. The university provides cable TV, water, sewer, garbage, heat and hot water being heated. The resident is responsible for electricity, phone and internet service. The average electrical cost is $30 per month. Steptoe is located on the north side of campus and is a 20-minute walk to the center of campus. Residents also have access to the city bus routes through bus stops located near Steptoe Village.
