Chief Joseph Village
Chief Joseph Village was built in the early 70's and is comprised of two and three bedroom apartments. This complex is located on the north side of campus and is about a 15-minute walk to the center of campus. All single student apartments are completely furnished (appliances, living room and bedroom furniture). Each Chief Joseph apartment also has a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and wall to wall carpeting except in the entry way bathroom, dining room and kitchen. Furnished apartments also include sofa & armchair, table with chairs, bed, dressers, and desks. (We will not remove furniture from furnished apartments.) A limited number of unfurnished apartments are available. The bedrooms are exceptionally large as they were originally built to accommodate two students. Each apartment has a patio. The university pays for cable tv, electrical service – including heat, water, sewer, garbage. Residents pay for telephone if desired. Wireless internet service is available through First Step Internet. Four coin operated laundry facilities are located throughout the complex. The complex also has a community center that can be reserved for the use of complex residents.
